Innovative Technologies

The Paris Agreement was signed in 2015 and both developed and developing countries are accelerating toward decarbonization. The key to achieving this goal is to balance “environmental measures” with “economic growth/improving quality of life” for which innovation in both scientific technology and business is indispensable.

The OECC is working on the development of a project for ocean thermal energy conversion that enables use of a stable power source without emitting GHGs or air pollutants, in addition to green hydrogen technology that may someday replace fossil fuels.
